Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
