The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
