The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
