The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
