Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
