The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
