Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
