The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Almighty God's Truth.
