The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
