The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
