Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
