The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
