The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
