Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
