The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting courses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
