The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
