The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
