The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
