The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
