The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
