The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
