The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
