Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
