The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
