The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
