Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
