The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
