The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
