The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
