The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
