Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
