Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
