The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
