The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
