The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
