Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
