Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
