Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
