The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
