The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
