The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
