The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
