The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 and produce sparks 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
