Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
