The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
