Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
