Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
