Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
