The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the chargers panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
