Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
